MARTIN ZÁHUMENSKÝ TO HOST AT ALCRON RESTAURANT

Martin has worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants and spent over 13 years in the United Kingdom. In Tuscany, Italy, he created his own project called Pappa Mia, focused on experiential tastings and collaboration with local wineries and farms. He was also one of the mentors to the current Alcron chef, Richard Bielik.

Martin’s approach to cooking is based on a respect for ingredients, with a strong emphasis on their quality. His style is natural, putting the product at the forefront as the main character of each dish. "We are just a small part of the entire cycle, which starts with the land, followed by skilled growers and farmers. The cycle then ends with us, the chefs. The journey is the goal, and my work, although physically and mentally demanding, is my great passion and lifelong mission," explains Martin.

The menu Martin is preparing for Alcron will showcase his signature dishes. Guests unfamiliar with his cooking will have the opportunity to get to know his evolving style, which has been shaped over two decades of practice. "Alcron is an icon for me. When I hear its name, I immediately think of its history and the tradition of its golden era. I am very pleased that this time is deservedly returning to Alcron, and this unforgettable place is coming back into the spotlight," concludes Martin.

The price per person is 1,690 CZK, with an optional wine pairing available for 1,090 CZK.

We start at 18:00.
