Join us as we invite Vienna’s top artisan producers and growers to showcase their finest offerings at Donnersmarkt, held every last Thursday of the month. This unique marketplace celebrates the best of modern alpine cuisine, offering guests an unforgettable culinary journey.

Nestled at Parkring 14, Donnersmarkt restaurant pays tribute to the extraordinary history of the building with The Thursday Markets.

This grand building was once the residence of the Donnersmarck family, who were pioneers in the region’s agricultural trade, bringing fresh produce from their northern Slovakian estate to local farmers' markets traditionally held on a Thursday. Today, their legacy lives on through the new culinary experience of Thursday Markets, which not only honors this rich heritage but also is the transition of "Donnersmarkt", now with Head Chef Albrecht Seltmann at the helm.

This innovative dessert, available on Donnersmarkt's dinner menu, tastes just like chocolate – but there’s none in it!
